「メバル」は英語で “rockfish" と言います。日本のメバルも、英語圏では「rockfish」として知られていますが、地域によっては「sea perch」や「black rockfish」とも呼ばれることがあります。
「ゴロタ場」は英語で “rocky shore" や “boulder area" という表現が適しています。具体的に「ゴロゴロしている岩や石が多い場所」を強調したい場合は、“rock-strewn area" や “boulder-strewn shore" という表現も使えます。これらのフレーズで、海の浅い場所にある岩や石の多い地形を伝えることができます。
